For years, friends, clients, and family have told me that I should find a way to share the skills and knowledge that I’ve gathered throughout my life. My focus has always been finding ways to combine spirituality and practicality. Practical mysticism is one way to describe my path through life.

Here, in this blog, I offer you the tools that I have discovered and use so that my life is always expanding and moving toward the good – kindness, compassion, joy, respect. These tools allow me to be aware, to be kind to myself and to others, to be connected with Spirit (no matter the name we give this mystery), to gain insight beyond the useful but limited logical mind, and to discern the ongoing guidance of my inner intuitive voice.

My goal is to be a force for good in the world – to tip the balance point away from destruction and violence and toward the best we can all be.

If you have questions – contact me and I will post the answers in a way that many can learn. If you’d like to work with me, let me know that as well.

If you’ve lost your way but know that it is out there – if you are looking to develop a new way of living, you may find some answers here.

Bright blessings!

About Me

I’ve lived on the east coast, west coast, rust belt, and the Rockies both north and south. Now I am in western New Mexico and couldn’t love it more!

For my work and my life, I draw on more than 30 years of professional and personal experience, wide-ranging education and training, and a lifetime of curiosity.

I received a B.A. in Psychology, and an M.Sci. in Technical Communication. As I shifted my career goals from the communication field, I received certification from the International Coach Academy in Professional Coach Skills. I realized that, like my studies in psychology, coaching only held part of the answer to the work I was called to do.

Currently I am enrolled in a doctoral program in Metaphysics and have recently completed the first level of studies which includes a B.Msc. in Metaphysics, my ministerial ordination and spiritual practitioner license. I am also a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage and a certified Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner through Dr Patricia Carrington.

My education in the fields of psychology, sociology, social work, and communication are combined with my training and practice in bodywork practices including breathwork, massage, qigong, and yoga; coaching; divination with astrology, dreamwork, I Ching, and Tarot; energy medicine modalities including EFT and reiki; hypnosis, journeying, and visualization; meditation; nonviolent communication; spiritual healing & affirmative prayer — all combining to give me a unique perspective on inspiring others toward clarity, grounding, insight, and personal, heart-based action.

I’ve worked in both conventional and non-traditional careers which have spanned agricultural, corporate, environmental, high tech, higher education, legal, non-profit, and small business sectors in a range of roles from crisis counselor to tarot reader; cheese maker and farmer’s market manager to technical support and product manager; corporate communication manager to college professor. I’ve enjoyed the diversity of experiences and people, and I treasure all that I’ve learned.
