Total Lunar Eclipse

Lunar Eclipse above Abiquiu Lake ~ January 20, 2019 ~ Photo by Klaus Priebe

Did you see the eclipse yesterday? I loved seeing the photos from people from all over the world.

Like anything, our social media connections are a double-edged sword that brings both harm and benefit. Like the story that tells us to feed the wolf … or dragon … or seed … that we want to become, so it is true for social media.
This photo of the moon in the foreground of the glorious Milk Way galaxy leads me to astrology. Too many people mistakenly believe that astrologers are talking about how the planets control the behavior of people. Instead, consider that they are symbols and messages – physical objects that share messages from Spirit through the patterns that are constantly changing.
I have a fair understanding of astrology, but it’s not my primary method. So I want to share with you my two favorite astrologers who I respect and enjoy.
Both of them will offer you the opportunity to develop your skills at learning to see the world and the universe around us as speaking to you both personally and as part of the conscious human collective.

From “Your 2019 Horoscope

Much of 2019 is asking us to let go of more than we amass. Purging and purifying our systems from the poisons that infiltrate them are a must. At this environmentally, socially, politically precarious moment, every issue we face is more pressing, more daunting, and more complicated. The truths of our situations are multi-faceted and multi-layered. They are personal and political. Collectively, we are coming to consciousness about the abuses of power that we have collectively and individually faced at rates more rapid than ever before. Thanks to social media, conversations that used to take decades to have publicly are now done, seemingly, in an instant. This causes what some experience as division, but the healing process requires us to parse out what the root causes of our pain are. As we collectively unpack the impact of thousands of years of structural inequity, and the traumas and tribulations that result from it, we are faced with the unending task of processing the damage it has done to ourselves and our communities. This process isn’t one that can be sorted through with the same instantaneousness as it is brought up in the digital age. Hearts aren’t timelines.
